Orbitrack je alternativa za računarskog miša, asistivna tehnologija-pomagalo za osobe sa telesnim invaliditetom. Pogodan je za sve korisnike računara, posebno za decu i one sa teškoćama u motoričkim funkcijama i ograničenjem pokreta.
Pomoću kontrolnog, upravljačkog prstena se elektronski upravlja kretanjem kursora na ekranu računara. Samo jedan, meki na dodir je potreban da se kontroliše i pravac i brzina kursora.
Za razliku od miša, trackball-a ili džojstik-a, ovde nije potreban pokret ruke ili zgloba. Za razliku od touchpad-a, za vođenje kursora potrebno stalno kretanje prsta.
